Voyage of Sinbad Harryhausen Sealed
Before there was CGI, there was Harryhausen. And what may look primitive
to the youth of today - was state of the art and thrilling to the children
of yesteryear. The stop-motion techniques Harryhausen employed brought
movie monsters to life - starting in the 1950's with fantasy and sci-fi
movies - and continuing into the 70's and 80's with the Sinbad franchise
and Clash of the Titans. Alas there are few vintage materials marketed for
most of his work (modern toy and model makers have made up for it in
recent decades, though!). This is one of the few period items reflecting
Harryhausen's designs/work. The Cadaco Sinbad game celebrated all three of
the Sinbad movies released by Columbia pictures.
